Awal Karier Cody Simpson Sebagai Penyanyi:
Cody Simpson mulai merekam lagu di kamar tidurnya selama musim panas tahun 2009 lalu ke situs YouTube. Awalnya ia menunjukkan penampilannya dalam video YouTube dengan menyanyikan lagu 'I'm Yours' milik Jason Mraz, 'Cry Me a River' dan 'Señorita' milik Justin Timberlake, 'I Want You Back' milik Jackson 5 dan ia juga membawakan lagu ciptaannya sendiri yang berjudul 'One' dan 'Perfect'. Banyak orang yang menyukai bakat dan kemampuan Cody Simpson dalam bernyanyi. Keberuntungan pun mulai menghampirinya. Cody Simpson ditemukan lewat YouTube oleh Shawn Campbell, seorang produser rekaman yang telah beberapa kali masuk nominasi Grammy awards dan telah menjadi produser beberapa penyanyi terkenal seperti Jay-Z dan artis lainnya. Akhirnya pada tahun 2010, Cody Simpson menandatangani kontrak rekaman untuk empat buah album dengan Altlantic Records. Single pertama Cody Simpson yang berjudul 'Iyiyi' menampilkan rapper Flo Rida. Greyson Chance adalah penyanyi muda berbakat yang lahir di Witchita Falls, Texas, Amerika Serikat, 16 Agustus 1997. Pemilik nama lengkap Greyson Michael Chance ini merupakan anak bungsu dari tiga bersaudara pasangan Scott dan Lisa Chance. Greyson yang mahir memainkan piano, populer sejak mengunggah videonya yang menyanyikan lagu "Paparazzi" milik Lady GaGa.

Awalnya video dengan judul "Greyson Chance Singing Paparazzi" tersebut belum banyak mendapat perhatian. Kakak Greyson, Tanner Chance, merasa perlu melakukan sesuatu agar video yang diunggah sejak 28 April 2010 itu bisa memikat perhatian pengunjung YouTube. Tanner kemudian berinisiatif mengirim e-mail ke acara reality show, "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" (2010), agar adiknya diundang sebagai bintang tamu. Ellen DeGeneres pun mengabulkan permintaan Tanner. Greyson sukses tampil di acara tersebut pada 13 Mei 2010. Saat itu Greyson yang masih berusia 13 tahun, membawakan lagu "Paparazzi" persis seperti di video yang telah diunggahnya.

Setelah tampil di acara yang dipandu oleh Ellen itu, Greyson mendadak terkenal. Namanya mencuat sebagai salah satu penyanyi muda berbakat Amerika. Ia menonjolkan kemahirannya bermain piano dan kemampuan vokalnya yang mampu mencapai nada falseto tinggi. Puluhan ribu pasang mata pun akhirnya tertarik menyaksikan video berdurasi sekitar empat menit yang sebelumnya telah diunggah tersebut.

Di tahun yang sama, Greyson tampil di acara "Teen Pick: YouTube Artist" di Hollywood Teen TV Awards 2010 setelah videonya berhasil ditonton sebanyak 45 juta kali. Hal ini terkadang membuat Greyson dibanding-bandingkan dengan penyanyi remaja jebolan YouTube lainnya, Justin Bieber.

Penyanyi belia yang kini bernaung di bawah label rekaman "eleveneleven" ini kemudian merilis single terbaru, "Wait Outside the Lines" (2010). Tahun 2011, Greyson merilis single kedua yang bertajuk "Unfriend You" (2011). Greyson telah melakukan tur promo keliling Amerika Utara yang diberi judul "Waiting 4U Tour" dengan mendatangkan beberapa artis sebagai bintang tamu, seperti Miranda Crosgrove, Big Time Rush dan Cody Simpson.

Tak berhenti sampai di situ, Greyson yang ingin terus membangun karirnya di dunia musik, merilis album studio pertama, "Hold On 'till the Night" (2011). Album yang diproduseri oleh Billy Steinberg (produser yang melejitkan Enrique Iglesias) itu berisi dua single yang sudah dirilis sebelumnya, ditambah beberapa lagu baru, "Heart Like Stone" dan "Cheyenne". Kebanyakan lirik lagu yang terdapat di album "Hold On 'till the Night" ditulis sendiri oleh Greyson.

Akhir 2011, Greyson memulai konser tur keliling Asia Tenggara. Ia mengunjungi beberapa negara, seperti Malaysia, Filipina, Singapura dan Indonesia.
