Alesana

Alesana (Alice-Anna) adalah American Screamo Band dari Raleigh, North Carolina. Dibentuk pada tahun 2004, Yang saat ini menandatangani kontrak dengan Epitaph Records dan telah merilis satu EP dan empat full-length album studio. 

Alesana

Band ini mulai terkenal dikhalayak ramai setelah debut mereka "On Frail Wings of Vanity and Wax" dirilis, yang menampilkan gaya musik pergeseran antara suara ringan dan berat. dipadukan dengan pengaruh band rock klasik seperti The Beatles.

Alesana resmi terbentuk pada Oktober 2004 di Raleigh, North Carolina dan didirikan oleh Shawn Milke, Patrick Thompson, Dennis Lee, Steven Tomany dan Daniel Magnuson. Nama band ini terinspirasi dari jalan yang bernama Aliceanna St, dimana Shawn Milke dan Patrick Thompson tinggal.

Genre dari band ini diklasifikasikan beragam diantaranya metalcore, post-hardcore, emo, dan screamo. Akan tetapi mereka sendiri menyebut genrenya sebagai pop-metal, dan "sweetcore".
